Michael Grasso has always been a storyteller. In his first career, he wrote, produced, and directed television commercials in nearly every category of the industry. His directorial work garnered major awards and worldwide recognition including the prestigious Gold Lion from the Cannes Film Festival. He was twice nominated by the Director's Guild of America for Director of the Year award. More recently, he wrote and directed his first feature film, The Umbrella Man, which is currently available on Amazon and iTunes. The Spider on the Ceiling is his first novel and is based on an original story by the author. Michael and his wife Maureen reside in Carlsbad, California, with their dog Bayley.
