The accolades have continued for “Noodleheads Find Something Fishy,” “Noodleheads Fortress of Doom,” “Noodleheads Lucky Day,” and "Nooodleheads Do the Impossible". Martha & Mitch created free, virtual “Ready to Go” Author Visit videos for some of the books in the “Noodlehead Series”. In the videos they tell the folktales that inspired the story, read part of the book, explain some of the idioms that the characters, Mac and Mac, take literally, and encourage children to create their own stories. Also known as Beauty & the Beast Storytellers, this husband-and-wife team retired (as storytellers, not as authors) in 2020 after sharing their tales all over the world for forty years. As a result, most of their story collections and picture books are well-crafted retellings of world folktales.
