I am a British Children’s Author, whose works combine old-world magic and new-world technology. I grew up in a small town on the East Coast of England, before moving to London. My favourite books growing up were The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe by CS Lewis, the Iron man by Ted Hughes, and pretty much anything by Roald Dahl. I also liked the Famous 5 and Biggles series of books. Ever since I was little, I would come up with stories, but never really thought to take them any further. Then one day, I fell Ill. Nothing too serious, and I soon recovered, but it was long enough to make me take stock of my life, where I was, and where I wanted to be. That’s when I found myself looking back at what I had wanted to be when I grew up. So, I went out and bought the best second-hand laptop I could afford, with the sole intention of writing my first book. Within three months I had written over 60k words. As it turns out, my words were not as good as they could have been, but I knew my story was strong. So, I went back and started editing and writing and improving.
