Patricia has a broad and deep experience of being a woman in the workplace,and it's not always been an easy task! She initially worked in the consumer goods industry working in sales management and for the last 18 years, as a consultant working with a wide range of global organisations helping them increase commercial effectiveness and develop their capabilities around influence, communication and speaking. Patricia has has always been a passionate advocate of gender balance in the workplace and she is disappointed and frustrated to reflect on the fact that progress towards gender balance, (that as a student, she assumed was a given,) is still not a reality in the 21st century. It seems so obvious that a gender balanced world is a more effective world as well as a fairer one.! Why is the pace so glacially slow ? She is driven by a desire to help change this. That's why she wrote the book, recorded the e-book and created an online course, to help women ( including her daughters!) have a powerful voice in the world, for their individual benefit and to create the change needed to finally achieve equality.
