Patrick has written three books ("Stoicism and Western Buddhism", "POTS: What It Really Is and Why It Happens" and "The Myth of Primary Polydipsia: Why Hypovolemic Dehydration Can Explain the Real Physiological Basis of So-Called 'Psychogenic Water Drinking'") and edited two more ("Stoicism Today: Selected Writings Volumes 1 and 2"). He is a former member of the 'Modern Stoicism' and started and ran the the Stoicism Today blog from 2012 until 2016. He has also recently written a pseudonymous political satire. In 2018, he worked on new edition of a book by his mum (Mary Redmond-Ussher, 1950-2015) about coping with breast cancer, published as "Following The Pink Ribbon Path" (Columba Press). Patrick is also a composer of contemporary classical music and his music is featured in the Artlist catalogue and can also be listened to on Spotify. He is from Dublin, Ireland.
