Tom Maschhoff is a retired Mental Health Professional. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Master's Degree in Psychology. He has worked in Public Health and private practice, specializing in treating adolescents, corporate executives, and their families. He also worked with hundreds of large corporations and employers, when later in his career he founded an Employee Assistance Program called Maschhoff, Barr & Associates EAP. The company quickly grew to provide mental health and substance abuse diagnostic services to thousands of families throughout the United States. Throughout his clinical career as a therapist, Tom has been interested in the study of psychotic disorders and the psychological development of serial killers. He is particularly focused on the commonality in their childhood development and background. He resides in Sequim, Washington, where he spends half of the year and the other half is spent in Englewood, Florida. In Florida, he wrote the novel named, “Cutter.”
