In this story, two friends, Alice and Sophie, arrive in Paris for what they think will be a relaxing vacation exploring the city. Things, however, take an unexpected turn when they discover some very valuable paintings in one of Paris’ antique markets....
Whether you’re learning the French, of Canada, North Africa, France or even your local French-speaking community, you’ll learn to speak naturally wherever you go.
Best of all, you’ll be able to handle new scenarios with both ease and confidence!
“I love Olly’s work - and you will too!” (Barbara Oakley, PhD, Author of New York Times best seller A Mind for Numbers)

it is written like a play. The conversation goes something like:
Sophie: Let's go to the market. it's a lovely day.
Alice: Good idea. I'll grab my coat.
Sophie: I'll meet you at the car.
Now imagine if the diolog was spoken by the same person acting all the characters but without telling you who's speaking.
As there is no way of knowing who's speaking, it would be difficult to follow even in English. Having different voice actors would have gone a long way to help.
It is really good when following with the book though (which I bought afterwards). Listening and reading is very useful
You have to have the book!

So instead of losing yourself in the immersion of the story, you are constantly reminded by the quality of the producton. You're better off looking up "Dialogues en Français" on Youtube for real authentic sounding dialogs and conversations by actors with some proper sound production to boot. Plus it's free.
They're not conversations.
