I have listened to the first few chapters and am already engrossed in the story. I would like to counter the reviews which were negative about Marian’s narration, I love listening to her read the book, it’s like listening to a friend read you a story!

I cannot rave about this book more! From the witty and touching storyline to the melodic tones of Marian herself I savoured every chapter and even enjoyed the end notes 😂! The sign of a great book is the sadness that engulfs you as you approach the end and I can honestly say I was both satisfied and sad! Brilliant!!!!

Another great story from Marian Keyes. This is the first of her books I’ve listened to on audible and Marian herself brings the characters alive. A story of families and their secrets full of laughs and heartbreak. There’s definitely a character or too you can personally relate to and character traits are well thought through. Loved this book so much didn’t want it to end .

I loved this. I do admit it took me a short while to understand who all the characters where but once I did I was addicted. I could have listened to stories of their lives forever.
