Really enjoyable!!
This was my first Laura Jane Williams book and it won’t be my last. I listened as an audiobook and I really enjoyed the narration by Carrie Hope Fletcher.
When the day finally comes for Annie to marry Alexander the last thing she expects is to be left at the altar. A chance meeting with an old friend, Patrick reminds her of the person she used to be. Can she really go on her honeymoon with a man that isn’t the groom?
I really enjoyed this book, it was fun, lighthearted and cute (all in a good way) it would be a perfect book for reading while lying on the beach on holiday. It ticks all of the holiday/romance vibes. It also dealt really well with ‘losing’ a loved one and also trying to ‘find’ yourself.
Annie is a well written character and it’s lovely to see her grow throughout the story. I found Patrick slightly needy towards the end, but that didn’t detract from his overall ‘good guy’ character.
Laura Jane Williams will now definitely become an author I’ll look out for in future - especially for holiday reading.

Light and Fun
It's easy. It's fun. You know exactly where it's heading which makes it a very satisfying read/ listen. If you've been reading a lot of heavy books then I definitely recommend something light like this.

Cute story we would all enjoy
I really enjoyed this, so much so I’ve listened to it all in around 3 days. Catching snippets where I could.
Really lovely characters and I like seeing how Annie learns and grows from what has happened in her life.
I enjoyed listening to Carries narration too. I’d definitely recommend this book.

A Great Story and lovely book
Laura Jane Williams have not disappointed me yet and one of my favourite narrators is Carrie Hope Fletcher. This book has a good storyline, it tackled the subject of being jilted at your wedding and the headspace you would be in afterwards. I really enjoyed it and I would recommend this audiobook.

Easy listen but not well written.
The protagonist is annoying and the story has no surprises. Easy beach listen/ read.

Predictable
Disappointed, I kept waiting for something unpredictable or funny to happen but sadly I got to the end and nothing did.
