Not bad at all!

All the bad reviews baffled me. I took a chance on this as I’m a massive fan of the film (not so much the graphic novel) and I thought this was a great audio adaptation! Give it a go!

Great but short

A great production with some very good sound design but such a shame it was so short.

A decent audio adaptation of the comic book

this is a decent adaptation of 3O Days of Night with a great performance from the cast but this is hit and miss thanks to too many sound effects.

Dark Drama

I saw, (and enjoyed) the 2007 film version of 30 Days of Night with, (at the time), a little e knowledge of the graphic novel. This is a fairly good, dark, twisted, atmospheric audiodrama in which the inhabitants of the town Barrow, Alaska, face not only the harshness of a thirty day sunless winter month but also the malicious vampires who have come to take advantage of the darkness for a mass slaughter. In between is a lady whose agents have uncovered the vampire plans and attempts to expose them.

A worthy adaptation of the rather good graphic novel, 30 Days of Night is definitely not one for the faint hearted with its audio depictions of violence and suffering, - effectively shocking with being extreme for the sake of it. It feels a little short, but it contains everything from the graphic novel, and I hope the other books in the series receive the same adaptations.

Good but far too short

The performances are great but they have tried to cram in a whole story into 1 hour, it sort of works but seems like there is a large middle section missing.

Not worth a credit

Quite short but enjoyable and well performed

I recently discovered the original graphic novel for free thanks to my prime membership, and was able to enjoy the comic and the audiobook together at the same time. I have not read the comic in full yet but I do believe this is more of a slightly abridged adaptation, meaning that the story does leap through its acts quite rapidly in the space of an hour, yet feels well paced enough to establish tension and suspense as the human survivors come to grips with a seemingly invincible army of vampires attacking their town en masse.
This is only an hour long and is in one program but appears pretty true to the comic, almost line for line. This is more of a bite size listen and while it is graphic in places, is not as disturbing as some of Neil Gaiman’s adapted works.
Decent performances all around, although the vampires could do with being less campy with their evil laughter. Overall a pretty good listen about vampires attacking a small Canadian town that is engulfed in permanent night for 30 days during the year.

too short not worth a credit.

way too short, but a good performance, was hoping for much more. I wouldn't waste a credit for such a short audio book.

30 Days of Night

Great performances and story. There's only so much you can do in one hour. Worth a listen and would have loved it to have been longer.
