About this listen

Original cast members from the beloved TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, reunite for an all-new adventure about connections that never die—even if you bury them.

A decade has passed since the epic final battle that concluded Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV). The game-changing spell that gave power to all potential Slayers persists. With new Slayers constantly emerging, things are looking grim for the bad guys. Rebellious vampire Spike (James Marsters) is working undercover in Los Angeles with his old pal Clem (James Charles Leary) when he meets feisty, rookie Slayer, Indira (Laya DeLeon Hayes), who wants Spike to be her mentor. Stakes intensify as Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter) emerges from an alternate reality where she alone is the Slayer, and Buffy Summers doesn’t exist. Cordelia enlists Spike’s help with a classic big bad terrorizing her world…his ex, Drusilla (Juliet Landau). Giles (Anthony Head), Anya (Emma Caulfield Ford), Jonathan (Danny Strong), and Tara (Amber Benson) also return, but through the years and the vastness of the multiverse, not everyone is who they used to be…

Slayers: A Buffyverse Story is written and directed by Amber Benson and Chris Golden, and co-directed by Kc Wayland.

Great for any Buffy Fan

As a Buffy fan from when it was originally on TV I loved this. Brought back a lot of nostalgia and great to see some of my favourite characters in a different role. Indira was a great new character on her on. I love seeing the Buffy Verse expand into new places and Charisma Carpenter back in the spotlight. All in all brilliant and can’t wait to see where it goes next.

Excellent

I was so happy to listen to this after all these years. Brought back so many memories and sense of nostalgia hearing the voices I watched week in week out in the early 00s . The story was great . I hope there will be more future series going forward. Well done all the cast.

Who’d have thought it!!

To step back into the world of Sunnydale with characters that I grew up with reprising their roles is a dream come true! Standout for Drusilla! A follow up is needed/wanted/required!

Just like the show

loved that the actors came together for this, the story is just just like the show dramatic and cheesy but if you loved the show you will love this.

I'm excited to see how it's improved for S2

New buffy content is like unicorn dust, and I want more! The only way to make it happen is to be constructive. Some of the comments are so unhelpful!

Voice acting is really hard, I think they did okay, But Tara was a little woody and Giles needed more energy. People also forget that voices change with age...

The story was often over explained. We aren't idiots. We can figure stuff out, so this was a little annoying. But it wasn't too bad. Would have loved an OZ cameo... I would have also loved a twist, something that I wouldn't have expected. And merchandise please!

The overall story was good,I loved Cordy as a slayer. But more writers in that writers room please and more funding because we need a epic soundtrack, witcher level.

I'm glad I listened and I'll be listening to the next one.

unfinished

I've been a buffy fan for ages and love the idea of the buffyverse and the characters they went with but with only having the 5 episodes and not being able to hear how everything end is sadly disappointing tbh I would of lest hope to have the hole thing instead of ,just 5, episodes I really hope they do more.
