Narrator had some annoying tones.

Story line ok, took a lot of time to get going.
The narrator could of made the story so much more intriguing.

Gripping read

Part thriller, part horror, plenty of plot twists keep the interest from flagging right to the end.

GGoid story marred by some strange narration

I loved the story - great horror with a twist. But the barrator almost completely ruined it by voicing every secondary male character in a voice that sounded too much like Mr Bean.

if you can get past tgat without giggling, it's well worth a listen.

Brilliant book ruined by awful narration!

I love Conrad Jones' books and this one is no exception but wish I had not got the audible version. I'm sorry Jacob Bruce but your narration did not do this book justice. Delivery had no expression and some of the pronunciation is just weird! The story is disturbing, compelling and had me googling like mad to find out more about the subject matter. Supposed to be true story and who knows it could very well be, if it is, it is even more terrifying. Will definitely get the rest of the series but kindle versions next time for me! Would have been 5 stars all around apart from this.

A child for the devil

The story was very good, but ignition me a couple of weeks to.get through as the voices of the people the narrator did where not great, that it made the story hard to listen to. I would recommend reading this book rather than listen to it

Child of the Devil

Total disappointment, unlike his other novels. It felt disjointed and unbelievable. It read as if he were in a hurry to finish this book.

Not an Anglesey murders book

In spite of being shown as part of this series at the time of my acquiring it, this is a completely seperate set of books. I found it very unpleasant
