Hoon is the man
So glad Hoon got his own books. He was one of the standout characters in a series full of brilliant characters
This story was brilliant. Enjoyed every moment of it. Well written and well performed just like the Logan stories by Angus King. Loved the Hoonisms and really looking forward to the next in the series

absolutely fantastic
Jd Kirk has to be my favourite author. I had been looking forward to this book and it didn't disappoint. Hoon is such a great character and I can't wait for the next one.

Wow! Such an exciting listen!
I loathed Hoon when I first encountered him in the DCI Logan books, but think he is amazing now.
What a fabulously flawed but honest character he is with a strong moral compass. Who knew?!
I laughed out loud so many times whilst I was listening, my husband kept asking me what I was laughing at.
I am so looking forward to the next one.
The narration is brilliant and helps build my mental picture of Bob Hoon.

Brilliant! just brilliant!
Got into this straight away! Thanks to a very long journey to Sheffield and back - did it in one hit! Loved Hoon's character brought to life so believably by Angus King! Just loved it and cant wait for more! Has to be Angus narrating though!
Very aware this is a terrible review but honestly just loved it and don't know what else to say!

Best book I've listened to in a long time!
This is brilliantly written, there is alot of swearing, alot of laugh out loud moments and the narration is superb.
