Should be titled a concise history of Spain’s royal families
Very well read and researched, but a ve y strong emphasis on the lives and machinations of the Spanish royals, would love to know more about what life was like for ordinary people. Still it’s a good listen, and I would recommend it, where can I find a Concise People’s History of Spain?

Fascinating and well-written
A really fascinating history of Spain, covering a broad range of time periods, I found this really engrossing. The authors explained complex situations and characters really effectively, and the narration was excellent. I was new to Spanish history and felt that I learned a lot from this, and was able to join the dots with snippets I had heard of but was unable to contextualise.

fabulous comprehensive fascinating
love this great journey through history without bias. Well read too , good pace and easy to follow. recommended for anyone interested in history of spain.
