About this listen

Newly recorded for the 10th anniversary of A Court of Thorns and Roses

The 10th anniversary edition recording of the first book in the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas, who handpicked narrator and friend Elizabeth Evans to bring these characters to life due to her intimate understanding of Sarah’s storytelling

A tender addition to the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can’t keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated—scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

Bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin with the later books in the series, A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

Thoroughly enjoyable, even if I originally felt this was such a filler book, having more of these characters is nevertheless a pleasure. And to listen to it via Elizabeth’s performance is joy!

Happy 10th anniversary!

Elizabeth Evans makes these series!

After being gripped by the last book, I was looking forward to the next instalment. Other series I have listened to have had Novellas in between major releases with mixed results so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Honestly, I was initially disappointed for the narrator to have changed again and this one spoke too fast but found a happy medium with the settings at 0.95 the speed. The story is relaxed and a good chance to see a glimpse of what normality might look like in Valaris. Not action packed but peaked my interest for seeing the relationship between Cassian and Nesta in the next book!

A bridge between the focus on Feyre and Rhys and the next instalment.

the narrator to this book speaks to quickly, not a calming voice like the previous books. Its much harder to listen to and to pick up on the details. The story is ok, not near as good as the others.

the narrator is terrible!
