Absolutely Perfect
The writing is divine and the performance by the Voice Actor probably the best I have ever heard. I adore all the different voices for each character he does. If I could give this more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

Has Fantasy Sherlock found her Moriarty?
A new RJB novel is something to treasured and this book 2 in new series is no exception. A new mystery set on the outskirts of the empire within a kingdom set to be subsumed into the empire. A member of a treasury delegation has vanished and Ana and Din are set in to investigate.
If you enjoyed the first book then more murder mystery awaits you, I really enjoyed it.
Narration is generally good but some of attempts by the male narrator to do female voices are a bit strange.

I am obessesed with this series. Not since Malazan that I've been taken in so much. Can't wait for the nest one.

I had a great time
Fun world good character. Story not always the most dynamic but the good writing and rich world more than make up for the slower moments
