Summary
A fighter pilot on a mission to reunite with her daughter. A cyborg soldier on a quest to regain his humanity.

A nice twist to standard SciFi
Nice to have sci- fi seen from a female perspective. The narrator brings all the different characters to life with great skill, really enjoyed listening.

Highly recommend
Got these books free and wasn’t expecting much.
Story soon had gripped and have binged the whole thing!
Initially I found the narration a little off putting but by book 3 she had either changed her pronunciation or I’d just got used to it? By book 3 I’ve actually come to enjoy her voice and the characters seem more solid.
As for the author? Well I’ve just purchased the next book so that should say how I feel!
Really recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of space opera

Enjoyable in a Star Warsy kinda way

Enjoyed it - Star Wars inspiration is a bit much, but the story is amusing and even exciting at times.
The narrator needs a bit more agility in her voice-acting, but passable without too many cringeworthy moments.
Well worth the time spent listening, and wouldn’t even have doubted giving a credit for the omnibus of the first three books if it hadn’t been free.

enjoyed
I really like lindsay buroker's characters here, from the smart mouthed captain to the stoic and brawny ex- colonel to the pessimistic mechanic/engineer and to the security guard slash Cook. it makes their quests and shenanigans all the more fun to follow. now my pockets are about to be emptied of coins as I planned to buy more titles from the series. oh and I found my favorite audible performer: Kate Reading!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vibe
If you like to guardians of the galaxy, you’ll love this with a sassy quick witted female protagonist and her crew as they ping-pong around the Galaxy on one hair raising quest after another.
I love Kate Reading who makes the perfect narrator.
Will definitely be getting the rest of the series. Highly entertaining and great fun.

very well written and performed
good books, very easy to listen to and follow the plot. if it was not an omnibus, I guess the individual books may have been of somewhat lower content/price ratio against similar titles, but as it is - very good listening for not very much money.
