If you could sum up A Feast for Crows (Part One) in three words, what would they be?

Slow, but key.....

What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Some simply fantastic accents!
I'm a big fan of Dotrice, and I think he portrays so many characters brilliantly!

Any additional comments?

Sets the story up well for Dance with Dragons. Just don't expect a gripping listen - as the earlier books were...

Like the comment above - I am completely lost with the accents in this one, every character seems to sound different to what they did in the previous books. I thought it was narrated by a different person initially. It's quite off putting. Otherwise really enjoying the series and story.

This is a lot slower pass than the other 3 books but I love the inside into the characters you get especially Cersei and Jamie.
The narration though was a problem Roy Dotrive was fine in previous narration but this book had several wrong name pronunciation the most notable was Catelyn Starks and the Tyrells also the voice for little finger went from a soft sly tone to a common gruff accent, and Arya Stark started to have an Irish accent? It was slightly frustrating and took me out of the story whenever I noticed it.

Love the series, but these characters are not my favourite at all. For me it all kicks off in book 5 where all the best characters are! I think I need to listen again to fully understand what was going on though....

I will always enjoy these books but why ohhh why have the names changed from the first 3! The voices are also different. I understand the names need to be in line with series but the series should have been in line with the books!

A little less action packed than previous books

The story is as strong as ever. Roy D (RIP) was still an excellent narrator overall, although listeners to the previous books will struggle a bit at first as he had somehow forgotten the voices he used for some major characters, notably Arya and Tirion and Littlefinger, and their changed accents are a but jarring at first!
