About this listen

Never sell your soul to the Demon King....

Too late.

In an effort to save all that I love, I have to finish the job that Nyfain started....And ruin myself.

I've made a trade with the most cunning creature alive. Me for them. The dungeons will be my new home.

Dolion's destruction will be my new goal.

I just have to get out of here, and back to my golden dragon. Preferably alive.

Everything I needed.

There is so much to say and yet I don't want to because I don't want to spoil anything.

Firstly I really loved the narrators! They did a fab job!.

The epic tale of Finley and Nyfain reached a climatic ending in book three and what a journey to that it was.

Finley is loyal to a fault. My girl put herself through literal hell to protect the man she loves and the kingdom he protects and honours. She was steadfast in her determination to protect him from all costs. Even from himself. She stayed true to who she was not taking the easy way out and showing everything her worth.

Nyfain oh my man had it rough in this one. Enduring the love of his life suffering was the last straw. Until the end of the book that is.

This book took us on a rollercoaster of revelations whilst dragging us along for the outrageous, hilarious and downright dysfunctional. The characters are truly the gift that kept giving here and i was so curious about so many of them and what laid in their fate.

I loved how the plot took a few interesting turns making what was already a tricky story even more so. I really enjoyed the pace of the journey and the multiple POVs.

The ending wasn't a crazy surprise but one nonetheless. I and very intrigued to see how the author spins this for Nyfain and Finley in the last book.

Honestly I loved this. I felt like it gave me everything I needed and then some and now I find myself ready for their conclusion because if anyone deserves a HEA it's this pair.

Now on to the last story.. after ill round off my thoughts about the whole series. I'm to in my head about what's happened thus far to have clear thoughts.

So much turmoil

Finley took the demon kings deal so she could free her village of the plague. Things are not what she expected in the demons dungeons she finds other shifters have been caught and the only way out is for them all to come together with a plan to escape. I really enjoyed this book and Hadriel well he’s just perfect.

Wow, This Gets Gritty & Dark!😳😥🙏💘💥

A Kingdom of Ruin: Deliciously Dark Fairytales, Book #3
By: K.F. Breene
Audiobook 🎧
Narrated by: Tillie Hooper, Tyler Donne
Length: 13 hrs and 31 mins
So Utterly Gripping, My Heart Hurt!😭😞💔

I've just finished & firstly - WOW!😳💥 Thank you K.F Breene for a shockingly gritty, gripping & emotionally charged read, my heart was hurting SO much!😭 I guess the 'Dark' has truly arrived in this one. :BOOM:
The narration is sublime. It added dimensions, to this already emotional book, I didn't think was even possible!🎧🌟

So the Demon King, Dolion, has taken Finley & Jedrek back to his demon 'kingdom'. They are thrown in the dungeons. The shock is all of the other prisoners he's got there as well!😲 It's not long before Finley comes to realize she may have miscalculated. She isn't as safe as she expected to be & escape is almost impossible!😭

Hadriel has been left in charge of keeping Nyfain on track. He needs to release all of the kingdom's shifters. Their animals need his Alpha power to be brought to the surface in their humans, after being suppressed for so long!🙏 For Hadriel it's taking all of his bravery just to try & open Nyfains bedroom door & tell him he's letting Finley down by moping!😳💥😆 Its then that Nyfain tells him and Leala that they've been hurting his Mate, he can feel it all through the bond!💔 Leala has the answer.🙏

Omg, the continued world build, new characters & the leaps in character growth in this book - breath taking!🌟 The surprises keep coming throughout, good & bad. But for me it's the almost crippling feelings of inadequacy that truly hurt the most!💔😭 Hannon is a big brother we all wish we had, or wish our besties did, so we could lust after him!🔥😍

The wait for this audiobook was like slowest, pain filled edging imaginable.😍🔥 Waiting for book #4 is going to be worse, imo. You get an ending in this one ... But then we're hit with a giant hook of an actual ending to keep us hanging for more!😀🌟💥
I CAN WAIT .... I just don't want to!😂😎😍🌟

a kingdom of ruin

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to because I gave the second book in this series a bad review.
I prefer adventure anytime over sex and the second book had far too much sex and not enough adventure.
This book however ticked all the boxes for me. Initially I wasn't going to buy the third book because I feared it would be a sex fest but although sex was in it ,it was mostly action. I felt it was only right to give it a good review.
Also I have purchased most of this Author's other series and love them.
For one terrible moment I thought she'd gone down the same route as laurel k Hamilton. Her initial books were fantastic but from about book 10 of the Anita Blake series it was like reading soft porn .
It's a terrible same as I did enjoy her books until the relentless sex scenes.
Anyway it was a great read and I can't wait to read book 4 in this series ☺️

A Kingdom of Ruin

Finnly starts this book in the Demon kingdom, with Elfain helping her cope with her beatings and torture, with his love and determination through their link. When help arrives in the unlikely form of Hadreal and Lylor before she can succeed. Read brilliantly again by Hollie Hooper and Tyler Donne.
