Really enjoying this series , narrator is excellent and does and excellent job both on the female and male voices , some of her other series had squeaky narrator which made it hard to listen to but I am completely absorbed in this one . 5*

Love this ladies stories . The dialogue flows constantly and the story lie is exciting and continuous with no padding. There's always that element of angst to highten the tension towards the climax of the book. Very enjoyable and highly recommended .

I am absolutely loving Kendra’s fierce FBI heroines. Mercy was raised by survivalists but left the fold to forge her own path. She now works for the FBI but is back in Eagle’s Nest much to the disgust of some of her family. This one is full of action but also family drama. We meet Mercy’s siblings, and I have to say I have a soft spot for Rose. I’m hoping she gets to feature more in the rest of the series.

With secrets, plot twists, drama, fires, and talk of mi!itia you won’t be able to put this book down. I smashed through it with Teri in my ears. She does a fantastic job of getting us into Mercy’s head as well as breathing life into the side characters. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance and this story.

After arson escalates to murder, Mercy and her FBI colleagues are called in to find a killer. Whilst trying to solve the crime she struggles to balance her family and work.

Whilst Mercy tries to solve the crime Truman battles his own demons after bring caught up in another fire.

As the threat escalates, will their love make them stronger or break them apart forever? Assuming they even survive.

I very much enjoyed listening to this book with incredible characters and narration that brings the story to life.

I look forward to finding out what Kendra will throw at our heroes next.

Mercy rides again.
