About this listen

Anne Blake, psychiatrist, is good at her job and believes that even the most sick at heart can be cured...or at least saved enough that they can lead a better life.

But maybe she's wrong?

Maybe within a murderer's heart, evil lurks and nothing can be done except to save yourself?

Would you listen to A Murderer's Heart again? Why?

I wouldn't listen to it again no. I love the story as I've read the kindle edition before, but the narrator didn't appeal to me if I'm honest. There were a lot of instances where she should have taken a breath, or a slight pause, and she didn't. This really spoiled the listening experience for me I'm afraid.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Murderer's Heart?

The story itself was the memorable part for me.

What aspect of Melanie Fraser’s performance might you have changed?

She could pause between some paragraphs, take a bit more care in parts of the story where the characters are changing from one scene to another.

Any additional comments?

The story itself I rated originally as 5 stars, on reading the kindle edition, and my opinion has not changed in the slightest. The only thing which lets it down is, in my humble opinion, the choice of narrator.

Great story
