About this listen
I thought the fight was over, but it was only just beginning.
I earned my spot in my all-male pack and won over my new Alpha, Liam Kolane. Yet my place among the Boulders and at Liam’s side is compromised. First, when my cousin claims I helped him devise his Machiavellian plot against the pack. And then, when August Watt, my childhood friend turned Marine comes home.
Although August’s plan was to pledge himself to his new Alpha and return to active duty, he finds himself incapable of leaving. This becomes problematic, because a mating link has clicked into place between August and me. If not consummated, the link will fade, but that’ll take months. How long and hard can I fight this physical attraction that renders my body unreceptive to anyone but my intended mate's?
Tired of having to prove my worth and loyalty to my pack and Alpha, I contemplate leaving Colorado. But an enemy pack shows up on our land and challenges Liam. I have two choices: step aside and let the males fend for themselves, or step up and help them fight the newcomers.
I've never stepped aside…not for anyone. Why would I start now?

An Emotive and Angry Tale!🐺❤️🩹💥

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. Unlike book 1, this time, each character was given a slightly different cadence, and the accent was changed much more noticeably for certain characters.🎧👏
This was an emotive and angry read. There were continuous betrayals to the pack and on a personal level as well.
Ness is hurt. She lashes out. She makes a commitment that I was really happy with but then makes the most ridiculous decision. Her age really shows itself.🙄
I'm starting book 3 immediately.⭐️

Truly worthwhile!
A Pack of Vows and Tears was a rollercoaster! I had not seen that ending coming and as for the secrets and reveals this left me utterly stunned. The thing I like the most about this story is the characters, from funny Lucas and his inappropriate, the big soft teddy bear giant of a man Matt to loyal and devoted August. Even Jeb worms his way onto my list of favourites as his fierce protectiveness over Ness melted my heart. And of course we can't forget the loveable, sassy BFF Sarah Matz who is just perfect for Ness.
Liam in an interesting character, one who we saw didn't always make the best decisions but i have to admit he won me over. Unfortunately, this trend of his continues and only gets worse to the point that I have a change of heart. After achieving his lifelong goal of becoming the Alpha of his pack Liam begins to feel the pressure his entails. The safety of his wolves is important but everything begins to spin out of control and he lashes out. Dark secrets come to light which had me raging at Liam! He's made so many bad choices in his life but after only having his father as a role model is that really a surprise?
Poor Ness, probably thought that after everything she had finally proved herself to the pack however that isn't the case. What does Ness have to do to prove that she is loyal to the pack? Obviously, a lot more than she has done. I feel like the moral of this story really connects with female readers the most because even though things are different it's not enough to change everyone's viewpoint. Women will always be seen by some as the inferior gender and Ness represents the struggle woman have to go through. Ness has to be one of my all time favourite FMC's strong, independent, stubborn, prideful sometimes too much so but all of these things make Ness who she is and I just love her! She's stronger than most especially as things just get worse for her as her faith and beliefs are thrown into question from the start. Will Ness be able to weather the storm?
I can't wait to listen to the next book A Pack of Love and Hate I am just so invested in these characters they literally consume every waking thought! I was in two minds about the quality of the narrator of this series but after listening to A Pack of Vows and Tears its clear Olivia has made a great choice. Especially because Olivia always have character with different accents which sound really authentic from this narrator. 5 Paws! A truly worthwhile story!

Good story
Good contuation of the story. I enjoyed the characters but I honestly feel like this trilogy should be more of a longer novella instead of separate books. It had a lot of extras I felt were unnecessary. Still enjoyed the story and narrartor.

I can’t wait to hear what comes next
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
Oh my effing lawrd! That is an ending! This book was highly addictive as with all Olivia Wildenstein’s books but it just keeps you going with so many interesting twists turns and action not to mention the guys. Omg Liam has some dang issues what a twat! One minute he’s a nice guy, next he needs to be slapped round the face. August is such a sweetheart 🥰. It’s a shame Matt is taken though he’s probably my favourite wolf 🤣 but every girl needs a friend I guess! There’s a few answers in this book but you definitely don’t know everything! I can’t wait to hear what comes next.
