About this listen
He’s the one man she can never forgive...or forget.
Lexi Mattingly, a hotshot Pentagon security specialist, can’t escape her past. Sent down to Little Creek to track down hackers attempting to infiltrate top secret naval databases, the last man she expects to run into is the ruggedly handsome Navy SEAL she left in Coronado a lifetime ago.
Navy SEAL Christopher “Blade” Walters has carried a torch for a decade. The sparks ignited years ago on the beaches of California never burned out, and the man destined to be alone feels them slowly combust when the woman he’d lost forever walks back into his life.
Lexi and Christopher must learn to work together to stop the hackers. But when she’s kidnapped from her hotel, Christopher may be the only man who can save her.
Can she trust the man who broke her heart to protect her life? And more importantly, can he convince her to give their love a second chance?
A SEAL’s Surrender is a stand-alone novel and book three in the addictive Alpha SEALs series.

interesting book
This book surprised me. The story was pretty interesting and I managed to follow along pretty well. Due to personal circumstances, I was unable to get into the book But I came back a week later and thoroughly enjoyed it. This book was entertaining and the characters were likable. The narration was done well and fit the story.

2nd chance love
great story with lots of suspense. Finding each other after 10 years. Though the beginning seemed to repeat itself or putting in fluff.
Narrator wasn't bad. She did have a very raspy voice. Hard to tell difference in characters.

A SEAL's Surrender
I loved the story itself but a lot could have been avoided if not for youthful stupidity. I kind of hate that it took 10 years to reunite, but the romance and suspense was on point.
Narration by Sophie James was well done.

Stand alone second chance romantic suspense
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator had a pleasant voice and was nice to listen to, but I do wish there had been more differentiation between voices. I can usually tell who's speaking just by the way the narrator talks for them, but that wasn't the case with this one--though the benefit to that is that there also no annoying voices.
The story itself was a pretty quick listen. As is often the case with second chance stories, it skips a lot of the 'getting to know you' section which is often one of my favorite parts. I liked the suspense elements and would recommend it to listeners who like second chance and romantic suspense.

Descent voice and story
I like that it has both romance and suspense and it’s a sneaky trick to make the stories standalone in this series because I got a urge to have the rest of the story stories.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings, good dialogues.
Characters is well described and developed in to realistic personalities.
Good storyline that progresses nicely into a happy ending.
Narrator:
Please pronunciation and read with feelings could be a more distinct male voice I’m satisfied.

Second chance romance
I sometimes feel like I’m not qualified to leave a review, especially when I know I couldn’t write or narrate any better.
I did enjoy this book, the story line was good but I feel like the writing was a bit impractical or unrealistic. HEA. The narration was good.
