what a fantastic story! I didn't want the book to come to the end. I love Rosie goodwin books. I wish they was more on Audible! And with Charlie Sanderson reading the story it is so easy to keep up with listening to the book 🥰

I really enjoyed this book, a real page turner, one that you can’t put down…

A lively story to keep you hooked throughout, however, I’m not sure the author knows how to round up the ending of her stories. It just finished so abruptly and felt rushed with a few bits of the plot left at loose ends. Still, not to say it wasn’t a fantastic book.

One of my favorite narrators and a long awaited sequel , I really enjoyed the rose queen..
This author reminds me of Val wood and dilly court etc ...
I love these ,I listen to in long periods I'm if lucky enough to have time ...

storyline from start to finish with some great characters and antics within the book. The narrator was very good at using different voices for the characters.

Probably one if the best Rosie Goodwin's books that I have read so far and well worth reading. My only criticism is that Ms Goodwin has a bad habit of including her personal opinion (buried in the story) on current (2024) issues that were either irrelevant or unknown in the 19th/20th Centuries.
