About this listen
Most witches don't work for police departments, but Michelle isn't your average witch. She's clanless, looking for a warlock who isn't offended by her lack of family connections, and in danger of losing her job if she can't find the eight escaped trolls before they start eating the local residents.
Trolls, angry police, and misbehaving spells are the least of her problems. Statues attacking homeowners might be problematic for your average witch, but to Michelle it's another day at the office. Her real concern is the wizard suddenly interested in dating her and an old elf set on pestering her. When her happy family is rocked by a long-kept secret, her stable life falls apart faster than she can pick up the pieces.
And she still hasn't found those trolls.
Soundbooth Theater has released a boxset to rekindle interest in the Witch's Path series with listeners! Don't miss this opportunity to nab more than 20 hours of adventure with Georgia's favorite magical sleuth for the price of one credit.
Jeff Hays has built a name for himself by creating immersive experiences, blurring the line between audiobooks and audio drama with distinct, convincing character voices, pristine recording, and special effects to add depth and dimension. In 2015, Jeff took a leap of faith with these three audiobooks. Though he was hesitant at first to narrate a series with a female lead in first person, N.E. Conneely insisted that he was the man for the job. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Jeff surprised even himself by convincingly embodying Michelle's grumpy, headstrong, sarcastic, and distinctly female demeanor. Listeners forgot there was a man behind the voice, and let Michelle guide them through all manner of magical mysteries.

Very entertaining & highly recommended
Excellent value for the cost of just 1 credit, & to be honest it was this that pulled me in more than the synopsis or the author as I've heard of N.E. Conneely, but I'm happy to say it doesn't disappoint. The storyline is very good, an unlikely herione who's very un-kickass but still manages to get the job done & a great supporting cast of other charcters including Fae & Werewolves, but probably what really set's it apart is the narration. The guys at Soundbooth Theater have done a great job & you soon forget Jeff Hays is a guy narrating a female lead & get pulled into the story. This one is definitely a keeper & I will be investing a credit for the next book in the series.

Creative and Charming!
NEWS FLASH! Not a true story! That being said, I love how NE Conneely brings all kinds of paranormal creatures and incorporates them into this story like you're right there! It's fun, it's intuitive at times, and allows you to escape into a world where you want to live to see normal humans and "others" coexist in one world. Michelle is a self employed exiled witch that contracts herself out to the police department to solve "incidents" mostly of the magic kind.
Michelle always has a cool head and is mostly liked by law enforcement. While trying to save her town from creatures and critters, and staving off family matters that won't go away, suddenly the shunned soon become the sought after
Jeff Hays does a fantastic job with his voice giving us vision to each and every individual character, from giggling to disgusting

Narration annoying!
A fun and entertaining story but the enjoyment is somewhat ruined by the annoying narration. The male narrator doing a woman's voice just comes across and almost like he's taking the mickey and it took me almost the whole book to get used to it - I almost have up at one point! The rest of the (male) voices are great though. Worth a l listen given it's three books in one, so stick with it!
