About this listen
Are you sick and tired of constantly feeling like there is nothing you can do but sit back and watch as addiction takes its toll?
Whether you are personally struggling with addiction or know someone who is, bearing the weight of it all often becomes too much to bear. It’s a menacing and slow-moving plague that can get even the best of us.
Or...
Have opioids become an even bigger problem because of their widespread availability in the form of pain killers, the lack of awareness of their side effects, the enjoyable “high” that comes from them and their ability to make both the body and the brain dependent of them?
No matter how much darkness addiction might bring, there is hope.
In Addiction Exploration: 2-in-1 Combo, you’ll discover:
- The biology of human addiction and what this means for your sobriety
- How to successfully heal from the past and move forward with forgiveness
- The particular human experiences that facilitate opioid addiction
- The treacherous two faces of opioids and why you need to be careful
- And much more...
No more wondering and feeling small or insignificant because the programs of your past have done nothing to help.
It’s time to take power back into your own hands and build the successful life you’ve always dreamed of for yourself.

Fascinating look at substance absue
Addiction is an interesting topic, especially if you have suffered from it yourself, or have been close with someone who has. Perspectives can be altered, things can be changed. But not without work. It will require action on your part, and responsibility as well. But it can and will get better with time. Really great listen.

How to take back control from addiction
While many addictive substances provide short term escapism and comfort, from stressful environments as a means of relaxation, the longer terms effects usually bear far worse consequences for the user and surrounding environment including relationships. The addictive nature of these substances mean they can quickly start taking over your life without you realizing as you become more dependant on the use. This double book edition provides great value as it looks into what causes addictions, taking it back to pre-birth which was really interesting to learn, to methods and lifestyle changes to start living an addiction free life. The bonus second booking look’s more specifically into Opioids and the characteristics which make them so dangerous. Overall many great nuggets and takeaways and essential reading for anyone suffering from addiction.

Amazing resource for understanding addiction
One of the famous quote by Gail Carriger goes like this: “I suspect it (addiction) may be like the difference between a drinker and an alcoholic; the one merely reads books, the other needs books to make it through the day." Given my prior experience working in a pain management clinic, I'm quite familiar with the concept of substance abuse and narcotic addiction. What I appreciate about Milton Harrison's approach to understanding addition and overcoming it is his compassion and non-judgmental, less-stigmatized approach to the situation. Addiction can stem from various factors that are within and outside of our control. However, the one thing we can control is our response toward it. Though I don't have substance abuse, I find that this book serves as a great resource for me to help other people to overcome their addiction and even how to notice signs of addiction in others, which is very useful for medical professional who are prescribing narcotics.

Helpful and Informative!
The book "Addiction Exploration: 2-in-1 Combo
" gives a guide to understand addiction and how one can be free totally. Addiction is a significant restriction of one's freedom. I have had mine and recognizing it was my first step to freedom. It weighs down. The books help one understand, and it s exposes one to how to be open and have an addiction as a past. You can alter your perspective, and the book is for everyone who is struggling with all types of addiction. It provides knowledge and tools to empower and remove the shackle of addiction. it gives activities to help and ways and techniques that are helpful
The good news the book brings is that it is possible to be free and to begin the first day of a brand-new life filled with success and freedom,
