About this listen
Pete is six months pregnant when he finds himself in the middle of a bank robbery gone bad. He’s sure he’s going to die, but a handsome alpha State Trooper bursts in to save him at the last possible moment. Pete is half in love with Ozzy before the week is out - but what kind of alpha wants a pregnant omega?
Ozzy Morris is a cold case detective. He’s also a member of the SWAT team. When SWAT is called out to intervene in a bank robbery turned hostage situation, Ozzy meets the omega of his dreams. He barely cares that his perfect omega is already six months pregnant, and finding out that the gun used in the robbery is tied to a twenty-year-old cold case just gives him reasons to reach out.
That twenty-year-old cold case, though, turns out to be the tip of an iceberg made up of organized crime, dirty cops, and families so twisted they can barely be called families at all. Ozzy and Pete love each other, but can that love survive a new baby, their families’ opposition, and criminals who will stop at nothing to keep their operation running?
This stand-alone gay romance book contains sexually explicit content and is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. This book is approximately 80,000 words, has a happy ending, contains mpreg (male pregnancy), and does not end in a cliffhanger.

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Book 2: Ozzy
Cold case detective Ozzy Morris, is saved by Pete at a bank robbery. Pete is 6 month pregnant but has mad skills. Ex military and now a photographer. Ozzy doesn’t stand a chance. He is enthralled with this beautiful and fierce omega. But as an Apha he is bound to underestimate his partner. Great dynamics between the MC, some awful family members, a dangerous case and beautiful babies in this story. The voice, wow! So deep and versatile.

Perfect Partners
Adrenaline Rush is a great audiobook. I really enjoyed Buried Passion, but this one is even better. Pete and Ozzy are a perfect match. I loved Ozzy for wanting 6 months pregnant Pete. Then he takes on Pete's newborn as his own too. Pete is full of spark and determination and really loves his alpha. The author even manages to make some of the villains likeable and in this book, it works! The plot is also in depth enough to hold my attention from start to finish.
The narration is usually very good too. It is clearly read and the timing is just right. Perhaps a little more excitement in the voice is needed, particularly in the bedroom scenes!

Wonderful
This is a really wonderful book to listen to. I enjoyed following Pete and Ozzy as they meet under a stressful situation and later decide to develop a relationship even though people around then think it’s a bad idea as Pete is already pregnant by someone else who is not in the picture. When Ozzy’s work starts to affect Pete and then leads to his kidnapping after Ozzy unravels a corrupt network. They make a life for themselves with some surprising people in the mix.
