Life affirming info for Autistic Adults
Many of us neurodivergent adults never knew our quirks were normal, because we had always compared ourselves to neurotypical people. I have been learning more and more about late-diagnosed Autistic people lately and was excited to read this book. Focusing on the impacts that Autistic adults have, the book helps the reader understand how to live a full life with Autism. Having information like this book will be very helpful to many people.

Just a mom being prepared
This book really helped me as a mom to better understand what my teenage son’s adult life with autism might look like. I already knew a lot about autism, but this book gave me insight into the differences between raising a child with autism and supporting an adult. It showed me how to prepare for the challenges my son might face as he grows up, like managing sensory overload and navigating social situations in a more independent way. I learned how to help him use his unique strengths in the workplace and how to support him in building strong, meaningful relationships as an adult. The book also provided guidance on finding the right resources and support systems that are specifically designed for adults with autism, which is something I hadn’t thought much about before. It really emphasized the importance of helping him embrace autism as a part of who he is, not just something to manage. This book gave me a clearer picture of what his future could look like and how I can be there for him every step of the way.

Great for adult children with Autism
This audiobook has really helped with my relationship with my adult daughter, who was diagnosed with autism as a child. Many of the strategies we learned when she was younger don't work as well now that she is 18. This book provided us both with new methods to manage daily challenges. One of the most helpful sections was on managing sensory overload; we’ve now created a 'calm corner' in the office where she can retreat when things get too overwhelming. I especially appreciated the advice on building meaningful relationships—it's helped me understand her perspective so much better.
