Recent events make some statements out of date but most of the information is still valid and useful. An experienced property investorbwill know a lot of it so it is more useful for newer investors. Some things the author used to get ahead are from a different time and the landscape has change. Those pluses don't exist anymore.

This is a great practical book that tells you everything (and I mean everything) you need to know about, not only BTL mortgages, but the realities of getting into property. Much better than other books that just try to up sell a course. Well worth a read and keeping as a reference too 👍

Loads of information available, Writer wrote it in a very easy understandable way. I learnt alot from this book as am wife and I are planning to take out a BTL mortgage. Overall a great book to listen to on the right topic. Thanks

The content of the book is current and relevant (reading in Jan 2021) and after reading the book I feel confident navigating BTL mortgages.

However, the book fails to address the second half of the title. There is no guidance or direction on how to build an empire with BTL mortgages. For example, it does not outline very clearly which mortgage is the most efficient way to build an empire (fast). After reading this book my inclination is to buy a property with a 5 year mortgage, but that will massively restrict my options of releasing equity by refinancing.
