About this listen

A gorgeous story of chance meetings and unexpected friendships . . . because sometimes what you’ve always wished for isn’t necessarily what life has in store . . .

Marriage. It’s a dream come true. Isn’t it?

One wet winter night, two women meet on a bridge. One is Tess Taylor, a personal trainer on the way to meet her boyfriend for date night. The other is Kate King, a celebrity married to a handsome billionaire who just happens to make her cry. In the cold dark evening, there is nothing to link them together but the bridge they shiver on. Little do they know they’ll both hold the key to each other’s future marriage…

All She Ever Wished For tells the story of what happens when your dream is about to come true. And what happens when that dream turns into a bit of a nightmare…

Claudia Carroll brings you a Christmas gift filled with second chances, fateful encounters and a lesson in what true love means.

Loved this book, it started out a bit lightweight for my liking, but soon got to be a great story with tension at the end. Claudia Carroll Is a wonderful writer, can’t get enough of her books.

Great story.

I couldn't wait to put my headphones in each day and hear what was about to happen next in this book!

I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. Suspense, romance and intrigue. I love courtroom drama so I enjoyed these scenes, although unthought the rationale for the verdict was weak and far fetched. Narration was good, especially from the narrator who voiced Tess. Was a good lighthearted read which had me laughing out loud on many occasions. The ending was a little disappointing but overall a good listen and worthy of 3.5 or 4./5.

Uplifting and funny

Great story and performances.
Very sensitively written tackling issues within everyday life. I found myself willing for certain characters.

After reading 3 psychological thriller books in a row, this was a nice, pleasant change!!
It was lighthearted and cheery and extremely funny in parts!!!
Tess was my favourite character, I wondered all the way through what on earth she saw in the dreadful Bernard!!!!!! Especially because he kept calling her SAUSAGE!!!!
The outcome of the court case was intriguing and the older women jurors were just hysterical, I laughed so much at their conversations.
The 3 narrators were excellent and really brought the book to life.
RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Loved it!!!

Excellent listen. The author has excelled in combining humour with turmoil. Excellent narration by Sophie Harkness. The narration can make or break a well written script.

Very enjoyable
