The gift is a gift
I love loved loved this book. It was about the best book i have read by Cathy, i must admit i found it hard to
get in to as i kept waiting for each chapter to be about a different character (I find the books that have a chapter about different people take a while to get going) but I soon realised it was about one main person. Freyas story was fab and i am keeping all crossed that we can meet her and her family again. Thanks Cathy

a family story.
A very gently narrated yet whitty book.
Quietly telling the story of one woman's journey as she faces the aftermath of a mugging & how she makes sense of it in the wider context of her family life.
That sounds rather solemn, which this definitely isn't.
Altogether a good listen.

very calming and made me think a little
good story, well written and presented. A problem pointed out without making it the sole focus just like in real life. something to take serious and deal with. A reminder to take care of oneself too.

Good listen
Although slow to begin with as it was Cathy Kelly stuck with it. Once I engaged with the characters the enjoyment kicked in. Cathy Kelly always gives an excellent insight into how the mind works. Excellent narration by Caroline Lennon.
