Summary
A mate is forever. Until they reject you….
Luna is sick of being an outcast. As the illegitimate daughter of a high-ranking official and her mother gone, she’s never felt wanted.
Finding her fated mate was supposed to change everything. She’s known for six years that she and Marnet are mates, and tonight at the MoonMate ceremony, it’s time for him to stop acting like a playboy alpha and claim her as his.
Only he does the exact opposite and humiliates her publicly with his brutal rejection. Then Luna is taken by Remus, another alpha whose clan launches a surprise attack during the ceremony. He’s captured all the other alphas except one—Marnet.
Now Luna has a choice. Lead the enemy to Marnet or protect her mate. Remus treats her better than Marnet ever did, but Luna is convinced Remus is only using her to get what he wants. Marnet is still her mate.
Although it wouldn’t be the first time she’s been wrong about love….

A good shifter romance
Having read this book on kindle I was glad to get a copy on audiobook.
The story is good, characters are well designed and good world building. I'm always a fan of enemies to lovers paranormal romance and wasn't disappointed by the story, even if it is left on a cliff hanger. Yhe narrator took a little bit of listening to get use to but I did get use to her voice and in the end was quite happy with this overall audiobook.

Alpha's Betrayal
This was a great book and well-narrated. I really enjoyed the first edition of this series, I love both main characters not a big fan of Remus's mother or Luna's family. Marnet is probably one of the biggest idiots around, I dunno how people didn't realize what he was up to for that long and that many women. I never thought Remus would be kind enough to actually take care of Luna when she's found in such a state that Marnet or his sister left her in considering he just done a hostile takeover. I like how close they grow and that he's not pushing her around to submit to his pack.

betrayal
This book has hot scenes but I got mixed feelings. Its about a girl who gets abused, cheated on and left for dead.
Luna, an illegitimate wolf who’s fated mate Marnet is the Alpha’s heir and subsequently the Alpha. They had been meeting in secret for six years. Remus, the Silverstreak Alpha who attacks during the an Alphas meeting and tries to overtake the pack. Marnet escapes .

Great
I really enjoyed this book, I was hooked in the first couple of pages and couldn't put it down, there were some really good plot twists. I loved Luna, and felt bad for her situation, I can't wait to read the next book to find out what it her future.

slow
Really good promise and I probably would've enjoyed the whole series, but it was so slow, nothing much happened in the 1st book and to get to the end of the whole story I need to get 3 books, would be great as 3 stories in 1 and I am sure well worth that listen, but will not spend another 2 credits to find out the end, it's too slow

A spineless Female Lead
The narrators did a great job.
The story seems interesting so far. I know this is only the first book of three, but I’m struggling between continuing and quitting, because the Female Lead is getting on my last nerve. Luna is ditzy, obtuse, pathetic, stubborn and spineless. These kinds of Female Leads ruin stories for me. I am hoping that in Book 2 she will at least grow a spine (if anything else).
