Summary
What’s more embarrassing than a butt dial?
Butt dialing your boss....
And leaving a dirty voicemail when you’re, uhh…"thinking" about them.
Working as Ruslan Oryolov’s personal assistant is the job from hell.
After a long day spent tending to the billionaire’s every whim, I need some stress relief.
So when I get home that night, that’s exactly what I do.
Problem is, my thoughts are still stuck on the bosshole, who’s ruining my life.
That’s fine—because of all Ruslan’s many sins, being gorgeous might be the most dangerous.
Tonight, fantasies of him are just what I need to push me over the edge.
But when I look down at my phone squished next to me, there it is.
A voicemail for seven minutes and 32 seconds....
Sent to Ruslan Oryolov.
I panic and throw my phone across the room. But there is no undoing the damage done by my very vocal O.
So what can I do? My plan was to just avoid him and act like it never happened. Besides, no one that busy checks their voicemails, right?
But when he schedules a one-on-one meeting with me for exactly seven minutes and 32 seconds, one thing is for certain:
He.
Heard.
Everything.
Cruel Paradise is Book One of the Oryolov Bratva duet. Ruslan and Emma’s story concludes in Book Two, Cruel Promise.

Excellent Mafia Romance
Emma, a quirky personal assistant, accidentally leaves a dirty voicemail for Ruslan Oryolov, her billionaire boss and the head of the Oryolov Bratva, a powerful Russian mafia organization. Their chemistry ignites during a 7-minute and 32-second meeting, setting the stage for their intense relationship. The children in the story are very well written and contribute significantly to the development of the main characters and the overall depth of the series. Narrators did an excellent job.

Brilliant
Brilliant story, thoroughly enjoyed it all, but it was the way Ruslan's relationship with the children developed that did it for me. Will be listening to book two straight away. Good narration, easy to listen to voices that brought dept to the characters without being irritating or exaggerated, it makes such a difference to an audio book when they get the voices right.

Emma is pathetic and weak
I'm really struggling with how weak Emma is. She lets Ben walk all over her, he steals 20k for basket ball tickets, doesn't work he's a slob. She accepts everything that happens to her. It's so hard to enjoy this book with Emma being so pathetic. Ruslan and her relationship is odd. Emma accepts breadcrumbs in life and her relationships. I'm just not sure if I want to move on to book two. I'm surprised Ruslan has any interest in whiny pathetic Emma.
I like strong women who know how to
Stand up for themselves. Or at least see growth and they grow some backbone.

Good story, mostly, but not the best
It was a good story, though a bit long. I felt really miffed because it’s a ‘to be continued….’ and I didn’t know. Grrrr
