Summary

New world. Old problems. Even gods must die.

Artorian has been given the lovely opportunity to run a realm and sort out all of its inherent issues. Not only does he get to chase around people with world-shattering abilities and force them into hibernation, he gets to break up his days by living through the worst portions of his life all over again. Nothing like trauma to fuel personal growth!

Nasty creatures Artorian thought were gone forever have begun appearing in the dark corners of the world, smiling at him with too many teeth. Between constant battles, Cal’s newfound love for math and pylons, the early stages of a world-spanning game system, and grumpy supervisors who refuse their bedtime…the sunny administrator has his now-tiny hands full. Exactly how he likes it.

moves on the story but nothing world shattering

more of the mad old schema we all love.
but just that nothing really happens in this book. yes we are getting closer to the end but it just feels like the book is being stretched out for no reason.

there is character development and the interactions with the characters are fun , its an enjoyable book I love the series but I just feel that this book could have broth us close to ware wevare going then it did.

Just as good the second time around!

This whole wonderful series might actually be better once heard before. The amount of detail in so many aspects makes for a great re-read since one might catch a lot that washed past the previous iteration!

Second childhood

Facing the past by becoming it, a different way to get stronger. The story continues to build.
Travis is great as always.
Time to dive into book seven!

Another enjoyable instalment in this series

This book felt a little slower than the previous one, in some ways it felt like there was more consolidation and steady expansion of the new setting rather than more drastic changes, but this is intended as a description rather than a criticism because it works well and builds on the major change that took place at the start of the previous book. The main character and his supporting cast continues to be a strength of the series, whether the focus is on learning more about longer term characters or spending more time with new additions to the series.

This was another strong performance from the narrator, helping to enhance my enjoyment of the book with their delivery.

Overall, another interesting addition to this series.

So boring

the first 3 books were good interesting characters engrossing world but the last 2 I have read go far to much into explaining the processes of the levels and points, mana, pylons gobldee gook and forgot to have a story arch it feels like listening to an instruction manual for something that doesn't exist buy far the hardest audiobook to get through i won't be pre ordering the next one
