I appreciate the book’s effort to use a scientific approach; however, I found two points to consider.

Helpful hints in this book.

I purchased the Kindle version of this book and finished it in about two hours, though I just bought the paperback so I can use it as a reference in the future or lend it to a friend. Castro's writing style is very casual, like you're sitting there having a conversation with him, and the topics discussed in this book are extremely valuable to anyone who suffers from anxiety in any form. The prose was very digestible and easily relatable. This is an excellent book. From this book you will learn about how you can prepare yourself to give a presentation, what goes on inside the brain while someone is having a panic attack. Overall smart guidebook for everyone. If you stay beginning stage so that's the correct book for you.

Simple yet practical.

This is a great book for people with anxiety. The author uses his experience to demonstrate how to move forward in various stressful situations. My favorite part of the book is the tool kit which is designed to help anyone gain control over anxiety while living their daily life. This book does just what the title says... it frees you from anxiety and shows you the way to walk this out and accomplish just that. If you suffer, I find these two manuscripts very educativeemotional responses and memory. This is the best book. Although the book is very small, it will give you all the fundamentals concepts and applications in Anxiety. What the author is trying to do here is teach you the using. A book on great advice or how to reduce anxiety.

This book will change your life!!!

There are enough positive reviews of this book explaining why it is so good, so I won't make it long. I'll just say this is one of the most useful books I've ever listen. This is a good workbook if you have anxiety, or if you're a professional mental health worker. I am both. I am a mental health therapist who has also suffered from panic disorder. The book is fantastic. But i would recommend the paperback so you can work in the worksheets Knowing why your brains works, the science behind it and a multitude of reasons is helpful when you are feeling a kind of way.

Good to know if you suffer anxiety.

I found this book particularly helpful. I am a special education teacher. I deal with students that have anxiety and behavioral issues. I found this book had many helpful steps I could take in which to help my students understand why they are having their thoughts and behaviors and alo different approaches on how to deal with them I've done some cognitive behavior therapy in the past with a therapist and I found that to be very helpful. I hadn't done any of the methods in a while and wanted to do something a little more self-guided.

A book that really helps

I'm not a fan of self help books but this came highly recommended. It truly does aid one in identifying causes and triggers of phobias and anxiety. AND it gives you effective ways to overcome them. Got this book for a friend that suffers from anxiety and phobias. We live in a rural area and it's hard to get doctor appointments. It truly did help me understand anxiety and methods for suppressing it. Extremely practical guide to unearthing, feeling, understanding, and expressing your feelings. I was given the chapter on assertiveness by a therapist and found there is so much more to it. Everyone who feels overwhelmed and resistant to intermingling with people should read this.

Great information on anxiety.

I got this book as a collegue of mine from work suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. I have to say this book did a very good job of explaining what anxiety is and how anxiety attacks are caused. Definetly helped me to understand her better and allow me to help her when she's having a panic attack. Depression is a silent killer. We all get stressed at some point in life but what we need ro know is that we shouldn't let our stress turn into depression. This book helps you learn what depression is and how you can beat and cure depression and live a happy life. i like this book so much. Excellent book for habit.

This is a great book that was recommended to me. Clearly the author is a passionate voice for those who suffer from anxiety. She provides wonderful stories, inspirational quotes, and practical ways to change your life. As someone who has personally experienced the strong and painful grips of anxiety and panic, and helps others to better understand and overcome their anxiety in therapy, this book will be an invaluable tool. The author does an excellent job of defining anxiety and panic attacks as well as helping the reader to understand what is a "normal" response to stress and fear, A book on great advice or how to reduce anxiety. As a person who suffers from anxiety, I find this book to be really helpful to me.It is also a workbook so it gives you activities that you can do to relieve anxiety.
