About this listen

In Carry On, Simon Snow and his friends realised that everything they thought they understood about the world might be wrong. And in Wayward Son, they wondered whether everything they understood about themselves might be wrong.

In Any Way the Wind Blows, Simon and Baz and Penelope and Agatha have to decide how to move forward.

For Simon, that means deciding whether he still wants to be part of the World of Mages–and if he doesn't, what does that mean for his relationship with Baz? Meanwhile, Baz is bouncing between two family crises and not finding any time to talk to anyone about his newfound vampire knowledge. Penelope would love to help, but she's smuggled an American Normal into London, and now she isn't sure what to do with him. And Agatha? Well, Agatha Wellbelove has had enough.

Any Way the Wind Blows takes the gang back to England, back to Watford and back to their families for their longest and most emotionally wrenching adventure yet.

This audiobook is a finale. It tells secrets and answers questions, and lays ghosts to rest.

Carry On was conceived as a book about Chosen One stories; Any Way the Wind Blows is an ending about endings. About catharsis and closure, and how we choose to move on from the traumas and triumphs that try to define us.

I love this fantasy world. I like the writing style and i like how the characters finally got over their angst. If im being critical i'll say the amount of smut and kissing really entered fanfiction territory. Also the goat story line never did connect to the main one, it was so random. But i like it and i love this trilogy and while it doesn't have any sort of overarching plot i'd still recommend it.

Magical, a satisfying ending

Finally everything is almost on their places, I'm happy with the story and where it led us. I was listening 2 days in the row. All good, but I need to know what in the end happened with his magic, and did they fixed it?

I love it, it's one of the best books about magic

Highly, highly recommend the audiobook - it's so great that Morton is back a third time, in lots of ways he does now embody the characters and it's so great to be able to follow them through his performance into this book. The book is funny, sweet and intimate - and he makes these moments all really sing. He's less good at the female characters, for obvious reasons, but Simon and Baz are the stars and he does a fantastic job of both.

The story is less focused than Carry On, and even Wayward Son - but is definitely the kind of thing you want to read if you've loved these characters in earlier books. I really enjoyed it.

Lovely book & Euan Morton still fantastic

A fun and easy listen and nice ending the the trilogy. As with the other stories, the plot is predictable but if you're like me, you're not looking for a gritty, mystery story. My only complaint, and the same for the other two books in the trilogy is that the big baddie fights are very underwhelming. A lot of build up for a quick fight and getaway. Luckily the surrounding plotlines are more engaging anyway.

A fun and easy listen/read
