Summary

Nowhere is safe: online or off.

The ZERO virus continues its spread across the globe. For Clay Hopewell and his friends, this spells more danger than ever before.

Digitally reincarnated into the world's most powerful online video game, Clay must now find out what's happening on the outside to save those living in his world. On top of this, he's been pushed into a quest by a young paranoid king, nations are preparing for war, and a malevolent glitch continues its path of destruction.

Even with the help of his sword-slinging girlfriend and thieving best bud, dark forces swirl in the background, hoping to transform the fantasy world they now call home into a digital hell.

Your next quest starts now.

Another awesome story!

Wicked follow up about a new city with clay and his team. There’s isn’t really any solo stuff now it’s all about his group with him at the centre. I do wish there was more description for the characters too and their equipments but the story is very good and I always want to listen to the next chapter. Would recommend to anyone who likes rpg gaming, stats and adventures. A little bit more racy than the first book 🤭 again no description though of what the characters look like apart from a brief “their airy eyes shined purple,” or “his green apprentice robe”

Just a shame it’s only 7 hours as I don’t think I’ll spend my valuable credits on the next 7 hour sequel and will instead go for a 25-30 hour litRPG for the same 1 credit!

But a brilliant book nonetheless the less, this is my first LitRPG series so take w a pinch of salt. Cheers

Not as good as the first book

while this book continues in the same way as the first, I didn't enjoy it as much. the story goes in a direction I was not expecting
