Easy to follow advice
I finally have enough land to start my first garden. I liked that the book showed me many cost effective ways to let me have my hobby garden. This book actually brought in financial information which I had not seen in other gardening books. Learning that I could actually make a profit was really interesting. I live in a small town and we have a good farmer's market each week so now I am starting to think about taking this from hobby farming to being a bit more of a side business.
Trying to eat healthy is beocming more and more difficult as it is expensive so if I can also find a way to provide my family with fresh vegetables and other families at an affordable price, that would be awesome. The book has also taught me more about crop rotation, succession planting and companion planting. I've really enjoyed how much this book has me excited to start my garden. Highly recommend to anyone who is a first time gardener or just looking for some new and helpful information.

Understanding how to create a garden
I don't have a great knowledge of gardening but I have always wanted to re-create the wonderful vegetable garden that my grandmother had. I appreciated that the author discussed the different types of vegetables so that you got a good understanding of how they should be planted and where in the garden they should be placed. It was also interesting to learn that you should also have flowers in your vegetable garden. I'm looking forward to producing my first crop of vegetables next year.

AMAZING!!
I'm new vegetable gardener, and this book is a terrific resource. It demonstrates how to raise an abundance of vegetables at a low cost. You pick up cool skills like inspecting and correcting your soil.Important concepts covered by the author include pest management, hydration, vegetable selection, and soil preparation. It is ideal for gardeners with limited space because it also offers practical advice for making the most of available space. One especially helpful feature that helps newbies plan and organize their gardening efforts is the planting calendar. Strongly advised!
