Amazing Resourceful Book
As an indoor plant lover, it only seemed fair to start my gardening journey, I have always loved to see my plants grow and mature, and now it was time time to start learning how to grow my own food, especially nowadays when we are more informed of all the toxins that are placed in our food, nothing like growing it at home.
The amount of knowledge in this book is amazing and all the resources the do's and dont's, the how and when. How important it is to know the seasons and what seeds to buy.
Top notch book! 10/10 recommend,

Fresh food is not so hard after reading this
I never thought that I could literally "grow a garden" in my home, but after listening to this, I know it's not only possible but fairly easy to do. The author goes into a lot of detail describing soil types and what to use if gardening indoors or what to use depending on what you are growing. I'd be lost without that direction. I also like how he points out that if you do not have space to "grow out" then "grow up" and get vertical with your plants. I can easily see stacking pots of herbs on shelves in my house rather than have pots all over the floor, making no space to walk. I like also how he said, "Grow only things you will eat!" I've made the mistake in the past of growing plants that I didn't even really enjoy and then had to try to give them away to anyone who would take them. After reading this, I think I will be heading out to grab a little pot to try my hand at growing some mint and start small. Very cool guide book!

A Must Have Resource!
My curiosity for starting a garden has been sparked by our changing world and being a mom to a toddler. :) I was thinking that maybe if we started growing vegetables that it may spark an interest in her wanting to consume them as a result of taking ownership. The problem WAS...I didn't know where to start. How to take the idea and implement it because it is nothing that my parents did with me. This book is exactly what I was needing, starting with the soil! I probably would've just gone and purchased a bag of the cheapest dirt...lol. I also would've probably thrown seeds for whatever vegetables I wanted her to eat in the dirt. NOW I understand the importance behind the foundation of soil (not just dirt) and which vegetable will thrive in our area! Thank you for this comprehensive guide! The information is thorough and well researched. It is presented in an entertaining and engaging manner which is also easy to understand and follow. I can't wait to get started in maximizing our small space vertically with fresh vegetables that we will take pride in growing (successfully)!
