Great audiobook
This is an interesting book that would probably work well in conjunction of working the steps. I listened to this to understand the disease better and found that the book is well written and laid out in simple steps to follow. It seems the author is very knowledgeable on the subject and has a passion to help others. It’s a great book if you’re trying to recover from addiction or know someone who is.

Great listen!
Recently I had listened to other sober books, so this was an additional suggestion, and figured, why not? WOW, what a great listen! Belle's book is great for anyone, really, but would be especially beneficial if you are looking to get sober, and that's the key right, someone has to be ready to make that step.

A superb collection of recovery wisdom!
As a family therapist for over 35 years with a specialty in the treatment of chemical dependency, I found Play The Tape: 5 Simple Ways To Help You Stay Clean and Sober one of the best books on addiction and recovery. The author has accumulated a wealth of information that's beneficial to the newly recovering individual. Topics such as description of treatment options, the 12 Step Journey, a succinct chapter on recovery terminology, explanation of how 12 meetings are run and many others. The narrator was direct but compassionate in her tone. This book is a must read for anyone newly recovering. I highly recommend it!

Clean and sober in 5 steps
Great audible that has come from a place of experience from the writer. Having struggled with alcohol and drug addiction my whole life, this audible came at the right time. I have just left rehab and wanted to listen to others (outside of my AA meetings) that could help give me strength and hope that can see me out of yet another addictive spiral. Highly recommended for anyone with alcohol and drug problems.
