So helpful in understanding Insomnia
Insomnia Decoded is a great book that breaks down insomnia practically. I appreciate how it gets into understanding the mind and eliminating negative thoughts. I think the concept of perfectionism was very beneficial and made me think about my thoughts. The section on healthy habits was very good as it gives simple tips to improve your sleep. We often underestimate the power of consistent sleep and the concepts in this book should be reviewed by EVERYONE!

Wow
This book is phenomenal. It’s talks about many incredible points of why insomnia have plaque so many of us. The point that struck me the most was the stress factor which plays a heavy role in sleep deprivation. Living in stress everyday even though is not a state meant to be experienced everyday but once in a while is definitely one of the biggest reasons of insomnia and this book discussed it excellently. I highly recommend!

Goodbye Sleepless Nights!
Sleep spindles, body temperature, and so many things involved in sleeplessness that I was unaware of. The "awake after 20 minutes of tossing tip is going into my artillery for use tonight. The sleep self-assessment is a great tool to get a baseline. Indeed, a fixed mindset is a barrier that seems elusive until you realize it exists. The explanation of why not to exercise too close to bedtime was helpful. Massage will be added to my remedies for breaking the sleep cycle. Thank you.

Pleasure to listen + tons of helpful information
This book is pleasant to listen and easy to understand. It offers a simplified approach to the complicated topic of insomnia. I decided to listen to it for my husband, who has difficulties falling asleep, staying asleep, waking up, basically all sleep related issues are there.
I assumed his screen time before bedtime, room temperature and some other factors affected his quality of sleep, but it never occurred to me, that his love for late trips to the fridge can be one of the reasons too! Thank you, Audrey. We are working on it thanks to your book!
What makes this book valuable is its simplicity and clarity. It breaks down the complex idea of insomnia into easy-to-grasp steps, making it a great resource for those seeking for help with this problem.
Narration was great.
Highly recommend this audiobook.

More helpful that another sleep hygiene routine
Over the years, I've read and heard so many pieces of advice for how to fall asleep better, but my sleep routine and sleep hygiene are likely not the problem. I've followed so much advice that didn't work that I have given up on them. However, listening to this audiobook was a game-changer for me. It really shared more about the medical reasons behind insomnia and unpacked the science and psychology rather than blaming everything on not having good sleep routines. I especially appreciated the attention to mindset, which I have heard so much about lately. While I just finished listening to this today, I am looking forward to examining the root cause or causes of my insomnia and hopeful to finally get to sleep more quickly than the typical 90 minutes to 3 hours that I struggle with.
