About this listen
In the future, even the broken can make a change...
When a nascent AI hacks her holo device, Molly Bates has to think fast and get out of the military before anyone discovers what has happened. The only problem?
The swiftest way out is also the most embarrassing. Mortifyingly embarrassing.
Ever the underdog, Molly refuses to stay down. What follows is a rough and tumble adventure that takes Molly and her team of change makers up against an enemy with power they had not considered.
Regrouping off world, they set up base on an asteroid that has its own mysteries to uncover.
Please note: Inside this book is cursing, amusing cursing, but cursing nonetheless. If bad language offends you, perhaps this book is not for you.Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit Series, Awakening tells an entirely new story in the Age of Expansion - when the Etheric Empire is fast becoming the Etheric Federation with all of the trials and tribulations that come with bringing together different peoples, systems, and ideals.

Good Start to another KGU Arc
This story is pretty good, a little slow but as i have read the book as well this wasn't as bad as when i first read it, the narration does help make this a little more active and I imagine that this will probably step up just like the books didn in further audios.
The characters are a little shallow to start but you can see what Eli is trying to do so stick with it and the plot is a little shy of action for me but keeps a not to bad pace later on
overall a worthwhile buy Especially as a whispersync purchase

They did it again
Yet again another gripping story from Ell Leigh Clarke and Michael Anderle. I couldn't stop listening to this one again and really looking forward to the next one. Pearl Hewitt's performance was yet again top draw and I enjoy listening to her narrator note at the end to find out what she thought of the book and where she thinks it will go. 5 stars again...

Rubbish
I was looking forward to this in the Kurtherian universe but it was really bad.
Molly is so completely unprofessional and her associate is as bad.
They are in a (safe) house for weeks, going for pizza regularly and then, when they have 2 people to keep safe, one of them flounces out after an argument and the other gets drunk. wtf ???.
What idiot would do that in such a dangerous situation, none, that's who.
She also tells her new AI never to do certain things and then she reprograms the AI because it wont do what she told it NOT to.
Stupid characters and too much silly side stuff instead of focusing on the plot.
Waste of an Audible credit and it lets the Kurtherian universe down.
