Summary
From USA Today best-selling author Meghan March comes the final sexy stand-alone set in the Beneath world of New Orleans.
I used to believe there were lines in life you don't cross. Don't lie. Don't cheat. Don't steal. Until I learned people don't always practice what they preach. I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything. Then I got the call no one wants, and I'm back in New Orleans. What I don't expect is for her to be here, too. Another line you don't cross? Don't touch your best friend's little sister. She's always been off-limits. Too bad I don't follow the rules anymore.
May absolutely be listened to as a stand-alone!

Brilliant
This was a long-awaited book for me as I'm sure it is for many people who enjoy the books by Megan March. It was a great story with little twists and turns that you don't expect and a few shocks here in there too. I'm sorry this is the last in the series of the beneath books but I am sure she will come up with something else as good or better

Gripping!
Rhett and Ariel. Wow! This brilliant finale of the Beneath series is absolutely gob smacking. It’s definitely the darkest and most gripping, and I loved it! Ex police officer Rhett and his best friend’s little sister Ariel are great characters and the storyline is edge of your seat exciting. Fantastic series!

This can't be the end, can it?
Would you listen to Beneath the Truth again? Why?
The performance is key in an audiobook, the story follows; this series has been the best across the board for me. I have listened to several, and the characters in this series really hit home with their sex appeal and overall realism.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Protagonists, clearly.
What does Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
They bring the characters to life, which is not the case for all voice actors. You can hear the passion in their voice and feel the characters through them.
Any additional comments?
I'm sure there is another character that has not been written about in this series? It would be a shame not to reach the tenth book. I think that March could pull it off. This series was the only one I have truly been devoted to.
Suggestions:
Book 4 - the brother who goes away for a year
Book 5 - Valentina's shop assistant
Book 5 - Valentina's parents - perhaps a novel incorporating the past with the present

I've loved every book in this series
This is the last book in the Beneath series, and for that reason alone, I'm devastated. I've loved every book in this series, and Beneath the Truth is no exception. Rhett is an ex police officer turned PI who became disillusioned with the force when his brother was killed and his dad was accused of been dirty. Leaving his hometown of New Orleans, he had no intention of returning anytime soon, until a pin unexpected phone call lures him back. Plunged into a world of deceit, lies and way too many coincidences this book had me hooked. Rhett was just perfect, (what you see is what you get), hot, sexy, no holds barred alpha. Add into the mix his best friends little sister and and I'm surprised the book didn't set alight it was so hot. I loved Ariel’s character, self made CEO and hacker extraordinaire, ex geek who has always been in love with her brothers best friend. Having no idea who the enemy was and trying to piece together all the information whilst protecting Ariel, Rhett has his hands full. With added twists and turns and lots of sexy time, we have a firm favourite in the Beneath series.
As usual Andi Arndt and Sebastian York nail it, an audio match made in heaven.

OKish listen
I have been a fan of the beneth series but for some reason I did not really enjoy this book , Rhett Hennersey features all through the series so thought this would be a great listen not really sure why I didn't enjoy I just could not engage with the two main characters ... the best part was the end when you get to hear what happened to previous characters, I will also look forward to meeting Mount in his upcoming trilogy I guess it's going to be a good listen fingers crossed .
I am sure to be in the minority in my review but I am not criticising its just not for me and the Seb and Andi narration was also great as per usual .
