Summary
A new world.
A new life.
New everything.
When my car flew off a cliff, I thought that was the end. But a beautiful goddess stepped in and offered me a second chance.
Now I have the power of light itself within me, and that power is growing.
Which is just as well, because I have to battle villains, monsters, mutants, and more. Not my type of thing, if I’m honest, but it’s about more than just me.
It’s about Bree, Amara, and the goddess herself, among a number of others. Powerful women in their own right, and to keep them on my side, I have to play by their rules.
I’m not a natural-born superhero, but just maybe I can become something more.

MC is a bit slow to react but still likeable
I liked the story but the MC is slow to react. I understand it all new to him but wait til someone gets hurt to react is just weird. He is still likeable and at least he is learning quickly and practise a new skill ….I do like the story… and have pre ordered book two.

Enjoyable and exciting
I have received this free copy for an honest review. This is an interesting story with a sort of gray mc that is working as a hero and growing into it thanks to his new companions. But a little gray is exactly what is needed so that he can face the challenges and protect his companions. The narration is clear and easy to understand.

Great Start
The series is off to a great and promising start. The storyline is interesting, and narration is good. Can't wait to see how the author takes it forward

Great start to a slow burn super harem
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.
Genre: Isekai superhero action filled slow burn harem
Power dynamics in harem: Early to say outside of mutual attraction. MC is assertive.
Explicit/adult material: One explicit scene.
Summary:
Grey has cancer and has decided to end it on his own terms. As he drives off the cliff a beautiful being pops into existence next to him and offers him a new life somewhere else, with a new set of super powers.
He accepts and is soon involved in his first crisis where he meets another super and soon join her and her team. As grey gets to know his new powers and his new sexy team, a nefarious plot starts to unfold.
Narration
Voice diversity: Each person have different voices that are easily recognised.
Pacing and intonation: The story is well told.
Sex scenes: Well done.
Overall Narration: 4.5/5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- I like that even though the culture supports harem the MC takes time to get to know the girls
- I like that the girls have goals and lives outside of the MC
- The villain was interesting and relatable (should I be worried?)
- The narration
The book’s weaknesses.
- I didn't notice anything I would have liked differently
Overall: 4.5/5 stars

From Zero to not quite a Hero.
It's a very nice underdog story of a guy who has literally given up on life and is given another chance to live.... he also gets superpowers to do with as he pleases. I thought it was really good to have a mc, who is not necessarily a model hero but still a good guy. Kinda.
