Excellent

Dramatised stories are the best way to listen to books on Audible in my opinion! The cast did an amazing job of reproducing the era in when the book is set, it helps in the imagination process and if you like period dramas then this will be the only way to listen to the story!

I'll only be looking for Dramatised story's now after hearing this and the dramatised version of Treasure Island were so brilliant!

Fantastic production

The dramatisation was excellent, a gripping and complex tale with great performances and atmospheric soundscore and music.

A classic production

An hugely accessible and atmospheric production of Charles Dickens' classic story. Touching, absorbing, full of pathos and in places genuinely creepy, the story is been beautifully adapted and acted throughout.

AN EXCELLENT RADIO FULL CAST PRODUCTION

One of the best radio productions of Bleak House.

Professional cast who bring out the warmth and intense characters in this book so much, you feel you are there with them as they experience this tragedy. You can almost feel and smell the acrid atmosphere of the old foggy smelly Victorian London only Dickens is master.

The book is long and involved which the directors, producers and writers have lovingly adapted to ensure we have as much of the basics of the story of which I think is quite excellent.

Bleak House.

Finished it yesterday - absolutely brilliant in every respect, including the casting. I'll be looking out for a similarly brilliant dramatized production of Our Mutual Friend.

If you want the bones of the story listen to this

This is an excellent dramatisition but it is abridged a little too far for me. Sometimes I felt dragged rather than led through the story but if you want an introduction to the story it is an wonderful performance.

An accomplished happy ending

the plot, characters, child hangers all very rich and the reader will least respect of what is to come.
