Great narrator as always but took me a while to get used to the different detective. A decent story and I will try second book.

A New Detective

Very slow poor storyline - certainly no "blood and guts" a definitely misleading title. Not recommended.

Unexciting

Found it very hard to care about any of these characters. An unbelievable amount supposedly happens in a very short tim and got confused in the implausible storyline.The text is littered with clichés and terrible syntax eg "it was harder to get him to not play than not" ?! Reads like a very first draft. Won't be bothering with anything else from this author.

Reached the end of the story and found no blood and guts at all... where is the story for this title?

Very slow and very disappointing from Ed, not sure if I'll listen to the others, incase the title deception is the same.

Angus is the only good thing about this book.
