I got chills! This is my first Wes Markin book and I devoured it. The crime/ police procedural storyline ticked all the boxes for me, and the characters deal with different themes or challenges including neurodiversity, gender and LGBTQI+ which I loved and found empowering. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

Aubrey Parsons narration is perfect. I loved the pace of this book, full of twists and turns. I look forward to listening to the other books in the series!

My first novel by this author. I'm a crime fiction addict, and has listened to hundreds of books in this genre, and this was up there towards the top. Excellent, and unusual characters, plot was plausible and interesting, and a brilliant narrator too. I can't wait to download and listen to the second in the series.
