Lucas was shocked when he awoke to find the world had ended. An alien AI called the System had taken over Earth and transformed his apartment building into a 100-floor dungeon tower of traps, monsters, and loot. The second is he slept through the System’s welcome orientation, so a Class was picked for him. Lucas is now a Blood Reaver. A brutal Class based on speed, ferocity, and striking from the shadows. If you like litrpg and tower progression stories then you will like this book. The world (or tower) building is good, you get a feel for what it would be like to be in the tower. The characters are mostly well written although some come of a little one dimensional. The fight scenes are really well written.
My only gripe is that the MC can be a little dumb in his thinking sometimes, saying that though I really enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to the next release.

A Solid Start

Very good book, gory and brutal without being horrifyingly visceral, (despite the MC’s blood based powers). Good level progression, powerful growth in stats and satisfying level ups. Fun premise that you can really get hooked on.(it makes sense as well why would you climb up the tower) only one problem, there are other people on lower( harder difficulty floors) when the Mc barely survives his first encounter how would the other humans survive? Recommended. I have abt 900 books in my library and this is one of the best ones.

fighting parts were well written but the story was laking a bi also there were too many characters. at times i thought there should have been less talking and more killing

looking through a litrpg group on Reddit, the author posted this book on there, gave it a chance and was not disappointed! great story and the narrator was a good choice, kept me listening!
