It is narrated by a somewhat nasal US lady and is US centric in information and viewpoints.

It started out pretty well, with information on how the immune system works, disorders of the immune system and what can have an impact on the immune system.

There were a few good pointers and bits of information on things that affect immunity but there were also a few questionable claims that seemed a little out there.

Unfortunately it descends slowly more deeply into an increasingly extreme detox regime. I strongly advise anyone with eating disorders to avoid this book.

Got fed up with it and abandoned it after they told me to throw out the non compliant food I had in the kitchen! I cannot condone such wastefulness when many people are struggling to put food on the table at all.

I found this book full of helpful tips, especially the list of foods. One annouying thing in all „for dummies” audiobook is that they like referring you to websites and reading the whole long link „double u, double u, double u, underscore, question mark…”
