perfect balance of tongue in cheek humour.
Anna this book is amazing. thank you so much!
I spent a lot of time watching Anna on TV as a youngster and felt subconsciously comfortable with her voice as she described the sanity of what sometimes feels like insanity. I really can't thank you enough for the content and tools that this book provides.

You'll never walk alone!
With our increasingly stressful lives, we're more and more likely to suffer from anxiety of some sort - from mild to seemingly catastrophic. If this is you, or your partner, friend or family member, LISTEN TO THIS DOWNLOAD!
Anna Williamson has experienced most of the related mental health problems which she writes about and has come through the other side. She knows what she's talking about and all her advice is sensible, clear and - which so important - definitely do-able. It's all delivered in a brisk, friendly way without being patronising and without resorting to any unhelpful and off-putting psychobabble.
She explains the physical and mental states of anxiety and all the things that can go with it: depression, sleep disturbance, aches and pains, panic attacks (which she prefers helpfully to call energy overloads), social anxiety, eating disorders, dependence on drink or pills... It's all here. You'll recognise the symptoms, and for everyone, there is practical help from breathing yourself down from panic, to exercise, diet and brain-training.
The message is that YOU ARE NOT ALONE and there is a great deal you can do for yourself (or whoever is affected) and plenty of structured help available. Understanding what is happening to you is the first step and from there Anna Williamson guides you through step by positive step to recovery.

Interesting points. Lacks the PDF activity sheets
Useful for anyone suffering from anxiety themselves or for people helping another with anxiety. Plain speaking and good overview on options and ways to work through issues.

BEST EVER
Of all the books I've read or listened to on anxiety this has to be the best, the fact you can relate to Anna and how she has felt and dealt with Anxiety. Would recommend this to anyone over any other books or audible. I don't usually write reviews but had to with this

I just found it a bit annoying
Maybe it's just me. I found this audio book very annoying. There was a lot about the author and how she overcame her own difficulties, perhaps there was just too much of her story, and how she has studied this and read that. Perhaps the book is just a bit too dumbed down. I thought the same about the Ruby Wax book (How to be Human), so maybe this genre of book is not for me.
